Rob Koremans

Member of the Board of Zentiva N.V. Rob Koremans was born in the Netherlands on July 27th, 1962. He started his career in 1988 at Sanofi BV, the Dutch subsidiary of Sanofi SA. He later joined the Sereno Group in 1993 and was appointed Vice-President, Europe in 1988. He then joined Gruenenthal in 2000, where he was appointed as a Member of the Executive Board a role which he held between 2003 and 2007. From 2007, Rob was Chief Executive Officer of Cryo-Save, Europe´s leading stem cell storage company. Rob Koremans holds a Medical degree from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Rob Koremans became Senior Vice President, European Generic Platform, President of Zentiva and Member of the Board of Zentiva N.V. on September 1st, 2009. He was nominated Chief Executive Officer of Zentiva on the 1st July 2010. Jean Michel Demeure
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer Zentiva and European Generics Platform Jean-Michel Demeure was born in Belgium on November 12th, 1961. After beginning his career in France in international management consulting, Mr. Demeure has spent the rest of his professional life within companies that have become part of the sanofi-aventis Group. He joined Synthelabo in 1991, where he served as Deputy General Manager France and then of the Asia-Africa-Latin-America-Russia region. In both of these positions he was in charge of finance and development. At the time of the merger of Sanofi and Synthelabo in 1999, he actively participated in the integration of both companies and was then appointed Finance Director Europe. At the time of the merger of Sanofi and Aventis in 2004, he joined corporate finance as Management Control Director in charge of France, Germany, Japan, Generics, Licenses and Alliances before being seconded to Zentiva in 2008. He was appointed to his present position in October 2009. Jean-Michel Demeure holds both a Law degree from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve and an MBA from the University of Louvain (Leuven) in Belgium.
Helmut Altmann
Head of Strategy and Business Development Helmut Altmann was born in Germany on May 30th, 1959. Mr Altmann started his career in pharmaceutical manufacturing at American Cyanamid’s German facility in 1986 and later held managerial positions at Cyanamid’s headquarters in the United States, its German generic affiliate, Durachemie and also at Wyeth. He joined Lichtenstein GmbH in 1996 and has since worked at sanofi-aventis in Germany and France. In his last position as Senior Director Generic Sourcing, he was based in Paris. Helmut Altmann joined Zentiva in Prague in September 2009. He studied at the University of Erlangen, Germany and is a state licensed Pharmacist. Lubomír Doležel
Commercial OTC director Lubomír Doležel was born in the Czech Republic on March 23rd, 1951. After graduation in Economics and Management at Institute of Chemical technology in Prague he started his career at the Headquarters of Czech Breweries. He went through several positions in IT, Finance and Commercial. In the early 90´s he also participated in Czech Tax reform as a member of Expert panel for Excise tax. In 1993 he was elected as a Chairman of Pivovary Vratislavice n.N., a.s. and later he took over the CEO position. The company was a middle sized traditional brewing company with two breweries and one soft drink plant. In 1998 joined Zentiva as Commercial OTC director. At that time he was responsible for OTC business in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Since then his responsibility has been extended to all of Zentiva's countries. Petr Pokorný
Human Resources Director Petr Pokorný was born in the Czech Republic on October 15th, 1962. Mr. Pokorny worked at Hartmann-Rico from 1993 - 2004 as a Member of the Board of Directors responsible for Human Resources, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Facility Management. At the same time he was also HR Manager responsible for Eastern Europe. In 2004 he was appointed as Director of the Human Resources Divison in Barum Continental and also HR Country Coordinator. Petr Pokorný joined Zentiva in 2007. He graduated from the Masaryk University Brno in 1990 with a degree in Social Science and Pedagogy. He recently won the HR Manager of the year Award in Czech Republic 2008. Claude Spieser
Head of IA and Development Claude Spieser was born in France on March 7th, 1955. Mr. Spieser worked at the Laboratory Hoechst's, which was part of Aventis, I´Aigle factory (Normandy, France) as Head of Galenic Development and worked his way up to Deputy Site Head. From 1996 - 2002 he was at the Industrial Affairs Compiegne Site as Site manager, and from 2005 he was at the Industrial Affairs Head Quarters Frankfurt (Germany) as Head of Global Industrial Technologies and Industrial Development for injectable and sterile products. Since 2006, he has been based at the Industrial Affairs Head Quarters Paris, as Head of Group 1 sites and Head of Industrial Technology. Claude Spieser joined Zentiva in 2009. He graduated from the University of Nancy, France in 1982 and also graduated from the Engineering School ESSTIN with a diploma in 1992 (Pharma Plus). |
